                                        Who wouldn't want bat buttons?

They were announced by Power A today and will debut at E3 and are called Batarang controllers.
The Playstation 3 version is wireless with reverse analog sticks and a Batman themed USB RF receiver. The Xbox 360 version is wired, bummer, but it comes with a super long 10 foot controller cable, you know for that massive living room we all have
The controllers will be snazzed out with seven different LED colors for those night time gaming sessions and will be available this fall around the Batman Arkham City release. We hope to get our hands a few to try out so I'll report back if they are super sweet.

Konami gets the jump on E3 by having their press conference early!
Yesterday was the first press event for the upcoming madness that is E3 2011. Konami didn't have any crazy announcements but fans will be excited none-the-less.
First up, Hideo Kojima discussed the new Fox engine he's using to develop his still unannounced title for Konami that is rumored to be outside of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. He emphasized that the new engine will favor multi-platform functionality and will integrate with the new Transfarring service he plans on launching. Transfarring will allow users to take their save data with them between Sony devices like the PS3 and the PSP.
Speaking of MGS - Metal Gear Solid Rising is on track for its 2012 debut and it was confirmed that a Metal Gear Solid HD collection is in the works. Available this November, The Metal Gear collection will include Sons of Liberty, Snake Eater, and Peace Walker, and all games will be remastered for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. There will also be a Zone of Enders HD collection. Zone of Enders and Zone of Enders 2 will get the remaster treatment and be bundled for both consoles, available sometime in 2012.
Next up, Konami confirmed Silent Hill Book of Memories is still in production exclusively for Sony's NGP but they also said that Silent Hill Downpour has been delayed until this Winter. They also revealed the upcoming Silent Hill Collection which will include HD remakes of Silent Hill 2 and 3, but no word on the release date or which platforms you'll get it on.
Konami also gave us a fresh look at their 3rd person action shooter Neverdead which was announced at last year's E3. The story is about a fallen demon-hunter who has turned into an immortal. He'll have to stop a demon invasion with an arsenal of guns, a butter-fly inspired sword and regenerative powers. Those will come in handy as you'll find yourself frequently without arms, legs, or even your head!
