Splintercell Conviction
GBNreviews Ubisoft's newest title title in the Splinter cell franchise. Conviction is a game that puts you in Sam Fishers shoes as an ex-NSA agent who is searching for the truth about his daughters death. The game starts off with Sam meeting an old friend Grim, who says that she has information about his daughters death, but in order to get that information he has to perform certain tasks, but it a small task turns into a all out war your ex employer. The game really makes you feel like an all out bad ass! while the old sneak and grab game play was scrapped, the new game play mechanics work extremely better. The old thermal goggles are gone, but you will soon forget about their existence after you get your hands on the new ones that can detect the enemy's through the walls. Ubisoft also added a Mark and Execute technique that will let you take out up to five enemy's with one press of a button. this game will have you begging for more and more you will not want to put the controller down until you uncover the conspiracy his daughters death, because you start feeling the responsibility is yours. But not all of the game has to offer is all good points, for instance the graphics look like they have been down graded, why does Splinter cells double agent graphic look better if this is the newest game in the franchise? if your a big graphics junkie and have played the previous titles, you will notice the graphic changes at the start. Another negative point in this game is that you'll be so trapped in this single player campaign that the game will pass bye faster than Lyndsey Lohan running from a big dike woman, trying to take her lady hood from her in the pin! But what about the multiplayer? the multiplayer addition to the game is complete genius, you can team up with a Buddie split screen or via Xbox Live. Ubisoft added a completely new campaign for coop that lasts for hours or you can go against each other in multiple activities. But it is still a great game after the negative points, so if your a Splinter cell fan your most definitely going to want to pick this one up. GBN gives Splinter Cell Convictions a 4/5.
