Red Dead Redemption has finally hit the store shelves.  RDR is a game made by Rockstar.  A GTA, style game that is set in the western times.  The first time I got my hands on it, it felt very similar to the GTA IV controls but a little more polished.  The game starts you off playing as John Marston an ex-rebel that wanted to start a new life with his family, but we all know it wouldn't be a Rockstar game if everything went right. John is approached by the so called F.B.I to bring in his old gang or the F.B.I will kill his family which they have as hostages. It's a real satisfying peace of art for the hardcore gamer, But that doesn't mean that there aren't any negative issue's with the game either. First of all what is with all the flying horses?! Also with the online play, I wouldn't even be able to count all the times I had my cross hair painted on a moving target, and magically they shoot past the screen like a speeding bullet!  What the hell just happened? And why cant I lasso anyone in online play? The online play has a stats keeper so the more you play the more you level up, the more gear, guns and characters you can unlock. pretty much the game is great, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldnt escape the horror of constant boosters. Keep it hardcore people earn your XP don't steal it!    
So pretty much the game is good, but with a couple of updates the game will be perfect.  Besides all of the glitches, Rockstar has outdone themselves with this one.  So with a great story that will leave you having the urge to start spitting  tobacco in a tin can when your through!!
